How we report
News Rajasthan is the news desk of e-Rajasthan, an independent civic information network. We are not a government website, and we do not speak for any department, party or recruitment board.
Last updated 4 November 2026
What we cover
Rajasthan's government and administration, schemes, recruitment, exams and education, and events that matter across the state. We cover incidents only when they are significant at state level. We cover national news only when it has a real Rajasthan angle, and we tell it from that angle.
Where our facts come from
We may first hear about a story anywhere, including from other news outlets. What we publish comes from the official record: DIPR, PIB, the notices of RPSC, RSSB and RBSE, and government portals. We link that record in the story so you can check it yourself.
We do not rewrite other outlets' reporting. If we cannot confirm a story from the record, we do not publish it.
Ads and independence
The site carries ads, which keep it free to read. Advertisers have no say in what we cover, and we do not publish paid stories.
When a story changes
If a story changes in a way that matters after it is published, we add a dated update note to the story and show when it was last updated. How we handle mistakes is set out in our corrections policy.
